Novitec Recruitment ("Novitec", "we", "us") is the data controller responsible for your personal data. This policy explains how we handle personal data in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

• To respond to your enquiry and provide our executive search services.
• To connect candidates with relevant client opportunities (with your knowledge).
• To maintain our business records and meet legal obligations.

5. Sharing your data

We do not sell your data. We share it only where necessary:

• With clients (for candidates) where relevant to a role and with your awareness.
• Service providers (processors) who help us run the business — including our website host and form provider, Netlify, and our email/domain provider, LCN.
• Authorities where required by law.

6. International transfers

Some of our providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum.

7. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to respond and for our legitimate business records, and candidate data for the duration of our relationship plus a reasonable period afterwards, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.

Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access your data; rectify inaccurate data; erase data; restrict or object to processing; data portability; and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email louise@novitecrec.com.
